Road Map
Gameforge has updated us with the roadmap during their recent stream for their upcoming title Swords of Legends Online.

Roadmap Summary
If you missed the livestream, read the summary below.
During Alpha/Beta, My main focus will be compiling as much class details for everyone, as we all know, picking a class is usually the toughest part of an MMORPG.
here is what we know so far.
- Everyone will start off with 6 Character Slots, this is not expandable at this current stage
- Pre-order Bonuses from the Packages are exclusive to Pre-Order only
- The highest Level Package, will give 3 Beta Keys, however, this will only be applicable if you buy it from GameForge and not Steam
- You can pre-order from GameForge, Steam & Epic Games
- Buy to play model with no Subscription model planned
- Monetization via Battle Pass System and Cosmetics via Cash Stop
- All class will start from the same starting zone, before they are slowly branched out for “class” specific quests.
- They are mini games throughout the game and some are included during questing
- There are “Class specific” zones
Cash Shop
I know you are all wondering about the Cash Shop and what it offers.
Currently, we know it is broken down to 3 different stores.
- Crimson Coin Shop – Premium Currency brought by real $
- Point Shop – Bonus Currency you receive when you spend Crimson Coin
- Crystal Dust Shop – Loyalty style currency you receive daily/weekly/questing
So far, so good, no pay 2 win elements so far and everything in store is pure cosmetics only.
Point Shop Preview Cashshop Preview Weapon skins Preview Mounts Crystal Dust Shop Preview
A interesting feature, Swords of Legends Online will have is, all cosmetics whether its from the cash shop or in-game are account-wide. This includes the cosmetics you receive from your pre-order packages as well.
This includes but is not limited to all mounts, fashion & weapon skins.
However, gender locked cosmetics will only be applied to that specific gender only.
Using a rough estimate of the prices given, fashion is roughly USD$10-20 while mounts are approximately USD$20-30.
Further, they is a full “transmog” Costume System in place. This includes all your fashion whether it was earned or brought.
Gear System
While PVP will be covered in a later series, we know that they will be a Battle Pass system added in game some time after launch.
The Battle Pass System will provide Gear Progression rewards to the “Free” side of things. Meaning everyone is eligible for those rewards.
They will be a Battle Pass ticket that can be brought using Premium currency for approximately USD$10.
However, we have been notified that all vanity and cosmetic items that does not affect gameplay.
Another interesting fact is that, the gears obtained in game will have “mastery” specifics stats.
As we know from our SOLO Class Overview, we have a wide range of classes that can be fit into 4 different category.
Melee DPS, Range DPS, Tank & Healer.
With Spellsword the only class that is a double DPS Mastery, every other is a DPS paired with either Tank or Healer.
In addition to gears being tailored specifically to Mastery (Spec), we will have a distinction between PVE and PVP gear. With PVE gear doing less damage in PVP content and vice versa.
Class Mastery (Specializations)
As previously discussed, each class will have two Masteries.
This can be swapped anywhere in the world, provided that you are not in combat.
This includes during dungeons, however as for PVP content, it has not been tested as of yet.
Below, I will show you some screenshots taken from the Twitch Stream regarding Talent Trees.
