Phantasy Star Online 2’s Successor
SEGA is the developer and publisher of Phantasy Star Online 2. The game is a very old MMORPG that was very popular in Japan. While there was multiple petition by the community asking the game to be brought to the West, however it only took 8 years for that to happen. More shockingly, within a year of releasing the Global Release of PSO2, SEGA announced PSO2: New Genesis which would be it’s successor and redesigned in Unreal Engine 4.
Since the announcement of New Genesis Closed Beta, the time is nearly here. Pre-download is already upon us.
The First Closed Beta Test will commence this weekend on 14th May, while it is set to be launched sometime in June 2021, for all servers including Japan & Global Services.
If you were one of the fast or lucky ones who got accepted, you are able to go into your Windows App and start downloading the Client already.
PSO2 New Genesis Download Information
Be first to be prepared for the Closed Beta Testing happening this weekend.
It’s quite easy to navigate to download the Closed Beta PC Game Client.
All you need to do is open Microsoft Store App and navigate to “My Library”.
There you will be able to look at “All Owned” tab where Phantasy Star Online 2 New Genesis should be there ready to be downloaded.
Easy right?
Don’t forget, attending the PSO2:NGS Closed Beta will receive a participation reward that will be revealed at an later date.
