MSL Hero Festival September 2021

Monster Super League

I was honestly considering to stop pulling during Hero Festival in Monster Super League but go for the Clan Festival. However, I decided to put a hold to that since I still haven’t gotten my L/D Balrona yet.

Monster Super League Hero Festival is the only one that does not have a “pity system” when summoning Astromons. There is absolutely no insurance that you will even get an Natural 5 Astrogem, regardless of how much Astrogems you throw at it. However, instead, it has a 2x system instead, where you will receive a free Nat 5 Egg if you manage to summon an Natural 5 Astrogem.

Let’s get into it, Hero Festival is one of the main highlights for me in Monster Super League as I am trying for both Light and Dark Balrona for years now.

Hero Festival

Hero Festival happens sometime during the middle of each month. It’s a ongoing monthly event that happens in Monster Super League. During this time, you are able to pull special Astromons that are not found anywhere else in the game. One of them was the Light Artemis that I pulled.

With my budget 15k, I reckon I would at least get 1 Natural 5 Astromon, hopefully, that’s all I need to get the Light or Dark Balrona. It’s about time I gotten her right?

I was hoping to get at least 2 Nat5 during this period. Any would work for me since what I really needed was the Festival Eggs as I don’t really want any of the RGB Astromons. When I saw myself getting my first Nat5 6 pulls in, I was pretty excited, maybe I’ll get 1 or 2 more Nat5s. I stopped at Pull 20 simply because, I wanted to save my Gems just incase they do another Primo Festival that is a decent Astromon that is worth pulling for.

Overall, in nineteen pulls, I received 2 x 5* which was the same as last month’s Hero Festival pull except the fact I pulled only 19 in August. Either way, it’s was not terrible and I am content with this month despite not getting a Balrona.

So this pull recorded so far – Ratio-ing at 0.90% of getting a Nat 5 & 17.72% for a Nat 4.

Only thing good I gotten during this pull was Wood Merlin, one can never have too many Wood Merlin right.

As for the Light or Dark Balrona, looks like September isn’t my month either. I’ll look forward to Hero Festival in November. Despite September being it’s the anniversary month. There was actually no anniversary events which was honestly a shame to see. I really do hope 433 being the new publisher now doesn’t drive this game to the ground.

Egg Pulls

Since I was pulling 2 Festival Eggs, I decided to pull some of the Light Dark Egg too along with the 3 Heroic Eggs I had on me. Sadly, nothing good came from any of those eggs.
