Monster Super League

Monster Super League has been of my top played mobile games in 2020.

I started to play MSL since 2016 since beta due to one of my favorite gacha games Monster Squad by Nexon shut down.

Monster Super League is one of those Hero Collector via Gachapon types which has that addicting feel to it, however, similiar to all mobile games in the market, it is heavily P2W monetized, not like when it first came out.

Since MSL Beta, I been playing it on and off, majority of the time was due to not able to get certain Astromons despite blowing tons of Gems on Gacha Pulls. Being a Free 2 Play player was super restricting as Gem Farming quite annoying and tedious at times. Considering how you could get x amount of gems for pulls with just a swipe of a card.

I have chosen to do Hero Festival since I really wanted both Light and Dark Balrona, thus all my gems I farmed each month goes directly into Hero Festival.

Hero Festival

Hero Festival happens sometime during the middle of each month. It’s a ongoing monthly event that happens in Monster Super Leagues. During this time, you are able to pull special Astromons that are not found anywhere else in the game. One of them was the Light Artemis that I pulled.

In addition, I had a 2 Nat 5 Eggs, I wanted to tried my luck, since it was rumored to be able to pull Festival Astromons from them during Hero Fest Period.

While this was never officially confirmed, it looks like I wasn’t lucky either.

At the 11th Pull, I was getting a little desperate, since I had not had a Nat 5 drop yet, and boom it happened!

Another rumor said that you are guaranteed a Nat 5 Astromon once every 10 pulls, but this just proved that rumor was a myth.

While we had lots of Nat 4 during a total of 16 pulls, I would of expected at least 2 Nat 5 while pulling 15 times. It did felt quite depressing.

However, all in all, I would still consider this an good pull, simply because I got so much Nat 4..

If we put that into ratios, It was 0.56% of getting a Nat 5 & 19.31% for a Nat 4.

Never-the-less, it was much better than High-Eggs I pulled in Janurary; A much higher Nat 4 Rate.
