Blizzard Policy Update
Content Selling
It seems Blizzard has made some sneaky moves this just this week for their MMO baby; World of Warcraft. While they are cracking down on 3rd party program multi-boxer users in December last year, they extended towards changing some of their polices regarding advertising boost sales. Namely, Mythic Keystone Runs, Arena Rating Boost & Raid Runs. While selling these content via “Gold-Only” is still within their acceptable TOS conditions. However, here where things get dicey, accounts created solely for the purpose of hoarding gold generated from these sales & advertising is not acceptable and subject to being banned. While the term “advertising” they used in the TOS still remains unclear. Without any further blue post, right now all we have is players around the community getting banned for the following new policies.

While he is one redditer who experienced the “unjust” bans
Do you think Ghormor is telling us the entire truth, as it is quite interesting since he claims that his account was predominantly used for gold hoarding, collections and AH while when his case was escalated to a Lead Game Master, it was reiterated that his account was being banned strictly for advertising. Quite the two sides of the story.

Or do you think this is the calm before the storm of Blizz’s attempt to un-saturate gold value & stop Content Selling?
As mentioned earlier, without any official blue post, we are in the dark.
Blizzard has not acknowledged this situation despite being a complete storm in Reddit.
