Blade and Soul by NCSoft has been one of my all-time favorites MMORPGs so far, and even now it is still one of my all time favs, however, it has been a few years since I played simply due to the complete pay 2 win whaling fest it has became due to mismanagement from NCSoft.

As expected of Blade and Soul, they can’t let this start without some sort of milking event.

Will This be Blade and Soul’s “Revival”?
In my honest opinion, not even close. The game has been completely ruined by Treasure Troves and other stupidly #pay2win whaling event, the fact that they are releasing “revival packages” instead of celebrating and giving away freebies cosmetic items is a clear sign of the complete milk fest they have instore for the community.
As I mentioned before, Revival needs a clean state whether it is a wipe or a fresh start server. Unless you are ready to drop a few thousands of dollars in BNS, you will never catch up to the whales who never left. Usually, in MMORPGs, unless you are competitive, that isn’t an issue at all, however, that comes to my last point, the other thing I disliked about Blade and Soul is due to the complete elitist and toxic community it harbored. Unless you can assist in cheesing mechanics through high DPS, it’s difficult in finding a party. This wasn’t always the case, it has been around since Pohwaran times but it was a very small minority, you could still enjoy the game.
