What is Ancient Colossus

433 released Colossus Golem in Monster Super League, it has gone under plenty of revamps since then. As of the last update, it provides one of the best League Defense Gems in game. It is the main free way of collecting 4* Skills Books in game without using any currency exchange. Skill books are an important part in upgrading your Astromons and can make or break an Astromon.

Ancient Colossus Timetable

Ancient Colossus follow the following strict order which resets each midnight (Registered Device Time)

  • Sunday – Closed
  • Monday – Dark Element
  • Tuesday – Fire Element
  • Wednesday – Water Element
  • Thursday – Wood Element
  • Friday – Light Element
  • Saturday – Closed

Tag Team System

Ancient Colossus Dungeons are completely different to any of the combat system we have seen in game. It utilizes a tag team system on a 1 boss room fight only.

You bring a total of 8 Astromons which are organized into 2 separate teams of 4. Team 1 will start the match and you “tag out” has a default cooldown of 1 turn.

Each turn the team that is currently not in play will regenerate 10% of their max HP and have all debuffs removed.

Below you can find the current specifics of the Ancient Colossus Dungeon

  • You can only attempt Colossus 2 times per day at the rate of 25 Energy each
    • A loss or forfeit does not cost an attempt
    • You can purchase more attempts at the cost of Astrogems
  • You can only bring 1 of each Astromon (by name).
    • Example – You cannot bring a Dark Mona and a Light Mona even if they are on different teams
    • Example – You can use the same Astromons on the second/third/etc run
  • Colossus Boss received Perfect Blessing Buff every 3 turns
    • Perfect Blessing is infinitely scalable and does not reset when 1 team gets wiped or during tag
    • Perfect Blessing removes all debuffs on the Boss
  • All Colossus Elements are sappable, however, they all have sap resistance
  • All Colossus Elements have the skill Invincibility; Immune to action-inhibiting effects
    • Dark, Water Light is additionally immune to Seal effects
  • Colossus Boss will unleash a powerful skill; Doomsday when it’s own HP drops under 50%
  • Right Mob will have a different heal skill depending on element
