Tower of God
Tower of God Great Journey is an idle gacha game based on the super popular Webtoon series Tower of God. I have been playing this game since launch and I am pleasantly enjoying myself, check out my review on it. Game is surprising challenging, and each day is quite rewarding as you slowly progress through all the content whether it is only just story mode, tower of trials or you climb slightly higher in the administrator tower challenges. I remember very vividly that in my previous attempts on Floor 100 Tower of Trial, Evan healed Urek (Boss) from what it looks like 8% HP back to over 80% in 1 skill, which was just pure ridiculous, but today I am back to show them who is boss.
Tower of Trial
Tower of Trial is one of the content features Tower of God has, it is actually one of the more challenging contents in game where it actually may frustrate you as some floors are ridiculously difficult.
The first thing you will notice that is different from previous floors is starting from Floor 91, you will be facing a total of 3 guardians as opposed to just 2 from the prior floors. This continues to stays true as I progress all the way upwards towards Floor 100 and onwards.
As I try different characters and positions for Floor 100, I found the combination of 1 semi-tank (Yuri), 1 crowd controller (Hansung), 1 Healer (Evan), your strongest main character (Bam) and 1 range AOE (Faker) will let you smooth sail through this floor.
You will be able to see in the video below, Urek proceeds to destroy my entire team leaving only Faker and Evan alive since they are back laners.
Despite Urek having just around 25% hp left and Evan & Laure having more than half HP, faker’s ignition was able to kill the enemy back laners before Urek died, showing just how tanky Urek really is.
This means, you really need someone who can dish out hard DPS on the backline such as Faker or Ran, so Evan won’t be healing an already tanky Urek. Infact, my faker is only T0 with an T0 ignition weapon, which is exactly what you will get during this Hell Train 2 Event, so this wil be a character you will be able to easily get if you are currently playing during this event.
The reason why I dropped off having two tanks or more specifically Jinsung is due to him not doing much DPS at all compared to how long he can survive against Urek making Faker a much more desirable character to use. While Hansung is just needed for his Stun and Knockback capabilities even though his damage is pretty poor and weak too.
Take a look at the video below for reference.
