Tower of God
Tower of God Great Journey is an idle gacha game based on the super popular Webtoon series Tower of God, don’t forget to check out my review on this gacha game. Tower of God is a game that allows you to progress quite easily day in day out, every day or two, you feel like you made some slight progress, and each upgrade feels quite meaningful, unlike some mobile games I have played in the past. After progressing a bit of Story Hard Mode Chapter 2, 3 star all the quest objectives except for the last 2-10 chapter with no real progress made, I went ahead and gone back to see if I am able to now progress through normal story after 9-8.
Upgrades are the same as Chapter 2-10 attempts, with +20 Epic T3 all pieces except for Helmet which is still an Epic T1 @ +19. Some skill upgrades for Jinsung Ha and Yuri Ha. My skills for the main characters I use are shown below.
Story Normal Mode
With the upgrades in place I done back for Tower of God Hard Mode Chapter 2-8 & 2-9 with a new physical fisherman T3 Epic Weapon. Chapter 9-8 and chapter 9-9 became a total breeze with no real worry, however, chapter 9-10 was a little different, it wasn’t super easy as it required some attempts and position movements before succeeding but it wasn’t overly impossible like a power gap issue we see on other content like tower of Trials 91 or Story normal mode 9-12 where a giant robot just laser my entire team to death within the first 3 seconds shown below.
Nevertheless, chapter 9-10 requires some crowd control characters so I brought along Yuri, Yu Han Sung and Faker. It’s the first two non-name characters who were a real threat in 9-10 as Shibisu just like the playable character and webtoon character, he is pretty much useless and a filter. Aslong as you can keep some DPS alive and kill the first two no-name characters, you won’t have issues with taking down Shibisu to finish chapter 9-10.
Meanwhile chapter 9-11, you will fight a FUG Octopus with barrier, so a barrier destroyer or a crowd controller with some DPS is all you need to take it down. Pretty straight forward sub-chapter, either nuke it as hard and as fast as possible without barrier breakers or use barrier breakers and DPS it down for chapter 9-11.
Chapter 9-12 looks like a hard stuck for a bit as the robot pretty much nukes me to death as mention earlier without me even getting close to it. We’ll see what other summons I am able to get and most likely continue progressing either Tower of Trials or Story mode normal or hard.
