Tower of God
Tower of God Great Journey is an idle gacha game based on the super popular Webtoon series Tower of God that I have been enjoying myself for sometime now, check out my review on it and if you enjoy it, remember to go like the Webtoon series and support SUI. I have not spent any money on Tower of God and been just going with the flow, seeing what is installed for me. Obviously, probably not the best way to play the game but I am enjoying myself so it’s all good. Check out my latest rolls here.
Story Mode
Story Mode recaps and summarizes the webtoon series Tower of God pretty nicely although, if you do enjoy the story, I would totally recommend you read the manga. Story Mode itself isn’t difficult at all, I believe I only gotten completely hard stuck a few times over the month and one of them was the infamous story 8-8 where XiaXia literally blows your entire team into dust right when the fight starts. Interestingly enough, this isn’t the first or second time XiaXia has done this, each time she pops up in both Tower of Trials like F81 or story as a semi-final boss or final boss, she is ridiculously strong.
Well, after an easy smooth sailing of story 8-9 and story 8-10, XiaXia returns in 9-1 and this time with Cassano and this duo does the exact same thing, completely obliterates my team. I personally gave up for a few days as I saw that I was progressing close to Baam’s Ignition Weapon T+3 at Level 110. With that, I upped Yuri & Sachi Faker’s skills making them both stronger and tanker which made the difference.
Below is my position set I used for Story 9-1, Story 9-2, Story 9-3 and 9-4. I gotten stuck at 9-5 at this time and I will probably slowly progress again in a few days once I generate more gold to do more skill upgrades.
Story 9-2 to 9-4 had nothing special, and you should be able to easily melt the bosses without much difficulty once you get over the 9-1 XiaXia hurdle.
