Tower of God – Story Normal Mode – Chapter 10-6 to 10-9

Tower of God

Tower of God Great Journey is an idle gacha game based on the super popular Webtoon series Tower of God, don’t forget to check out my review on this gacha game. If you enjoy the game, remember to go like the Webtoon series and support the artist SUI. Tower of God is a game that allows you to progress quite easily day in day out, every day or two, you feel like you made some slight progress, and each upgrade feels quite meaningful, unlike some mobile games I have played in the past. Is what I wanted to say, my previous statement, that it feels like it really really really slowed down on progress. I still feel this way, despite slowly progressing from Tower of Trial F102 to F106 I still cannot beat Chapter 2-10 Story Hard Mode. In the meantime, let’s go ahead and progress once again from Chapter 10-6 to Chapter 10-9 in Story Mode Normal.

Today, I was able to hit level 150 which meant a free legendary ignition weapon. While hoping for a White ignition weapon, I got the Jahad Laevatinn instead. This weapon is not exclusively for 1 character only but instead, for all Great Family characters to use, including Epic characters. The best part of this weapon is that the legendary characters have the ability to use their Ignition ability even with this weapon.

Story Normal Mode

In Chapter 10-6, my focus here was to turn the Robot around using Bam’s Fate skill from Quant. This will keep the damage only directed at Bam, since Bam is the one who pulls aggro despite having Jinsang there too. Which is fine, Jinsang’s other job was to help control it and keep it CC’ed along with silence to stop the rockets. If you can pull that off and keep Bam (or your tank) long enough to break down the shield, then the robot will be easy picking.

Chapter 10-7, in my video below, you will see I faced the robot head on, which caused me to wipe quite quickly. The tactic is the same as Normal Chapter 10-6, spin the robot around. This technique is pretty much used throughout this game as alot of Bosses will have splash AOE damage and hit targets behind. Further, Quant’s teleport skill or the fate version does do a mini cancel on any animation that is targeted towards it. That includes the laser from the laser girl or robot. Hence why that fate skill is a huge help and a good idea to level it up for some extra deeps.

In chapter 10-8, we see a new character introduce which quickly gets vaporized by our team. Not too sure if it was due to high DPS and the boss wasn’t able to showcase its skills, or it was just naturally weak. But as far as I am concerned, this was basically a free pass so pack some high DPS characters and destroy it.

I personally thought I wasn’t able to beat Chapter 10-9, as Beta was ridiculously strong and was literally punching my characters to death. However, I gave it a second try using a completely different setup. I brought along Evan and Faker for some Heals and range DPS since Beta is a melee character. Further, Faker also has knockback effects on his ignition skill along with his actives making him quite helpful. Along with the usual OG Bam and Yuri as a DPS Tank.

Lastly, the reason why there isn’t a breakdown on 10-10 is because of the following picture below, let’s just see the grim reaper completely melting me.
