Click OK, wait a minute or two and you should return to the queue, if not restart New World

Solution 2:

  • Press the Start button
  • Go to “Settings” menu
  • Select “Network and Internet” feature
  • Click on “Status” tab
  • Go to “Change your network settings
  • Select “Change adapter options” feature
  • Right-click on your network connection
  • Select “Properties” from the list
  • Uncheck the “Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6)” box
  • Restart your PC
  • Launch New World

Black screen error

Solution 1: Continue to wait for it to load (This could be a PC’s hardware issue if you don’t have the top of the line). If it takes more than a few minutes, restart the game.

  • Find New World and right click and select Properties
  • Navigate to Local Files
  • Click the “Verify integrity of game files…”
  • Launch the game after completion

Solution 1:

  • Navigate to the EasyAntiCheat Folder instead your game folder
    • Go to ~\steamapps\common\New World\
  • Locate EasyAntiCheat_Setup.exe and install as administrator
    • Install if you do not have it installed
    • Repair if it is already installed

Solution:

  • Launch Steam Client
  • Find New World and right click and select Properties
  • Navigate to Local Files
  • Click the “Verify integrity of game files…”
  • Launch the game after completion

  • Launch Steam Client as an Administrator
  • Change the Game’s download location
  • Clear Steam Download Cache
  • Find New World and right click and select Properties

Solution 1: Reboot your PC

  • Go to ~\steamapps\common\New World\Bin64
  • Right click on Javelin_x64.exe > Properties > Compatibility
    • Find the line “Run this program as an administrator” and make sure it is ticked
  • Press Apply then OK
  • Open the game from javalin_x64.exe

Pressing ‘E’ does not interact with the environment

Solution 1:

  • Close the game
  • Navigate to %appdata%/AGS/New World/
  • Locate and Delete the “savedata” folder
  • Launch The Game

  • Reset settings back to default
