Monster Super League Light Ancient Colossus
Monster Super League Light Ancient Colossus is only available on Friday.
The Light Colossus is HP type and ATK sub that as 20% Crit Rate, 50% Crit Damage and 20% Resist, it has 100% chance to restore 5% of it’s own HP as a passive and 60% chance to shock targets for 2 turns as an active.
Why Do Light Colossus Each Friday
Light Colossus is not very difficult to complete, even though it’s a Tank based boss with high HP scaling, it’s actually one of the easiest to beat out of all the Ancient Colossus. Simply due to having a near zero defense stat (50 only). On top of this, majority of my guides focuses on having Dark Astromon high DPS Astromons which you will use here to just simply melt the boss completely with elemental advantage. The main reason to do Colossus is that it drops the same rewards including the best in slot (BiS) Healer Gem Set for League Defender players in addition to Nat5 Shards for Dark Siegfried.

While my golem guides is as closely related to each other in terms of Astromons, this guide is a perfect example of this, this is the exact same team as the Wood Colossus team but just a rearranged team. After all, if it work it works right, unless you are autoing this at 3minute+, there is absolutely no need to go find another Astromon. Granted saving a few seconds each auto adds up eventually, but as a casual player such as myself and majority of you out there it’s just not a viable option. I am sure, you just want to get Colossus done each day and move on to the next daily.
I split the team into two main groups for Light Colossus, DPS: DPS, Utility: Def Down and SP Regen and Support: Healers and Shield.
- Dark Mona, Fire Draka, Dark Seira all falls under DPS & SP Regen
- Dark Thor, Dark Beatel and Dark Shellie falls under DPS with it’s Debuffer
- Dark Cernunnos and falls under Support with her Heal and Undying Volition
- Dark Seastar is just another dps.

Idea behind the team composition is very simple, high DPS, regen as much SP and nuke everything down. That’s all to it. No strategy because auto-play won’t care what you want anyways. This is a pure nuke team, replace any Astromons with stronger versions of it to make it go so much smoother.
Trinkets
I never really mattered much on Trinkets, in Golems or in Dimensional Rifts as much simply due to the fact that it isn’t really needed. This does not change for Light Ancient Colossus, although it is very nice to have high DPS, Min-Maxing Trinkets are not necessary to beat this, whilst it is still a good practice to have some decent trinkets anyways. For example, only my Main DPS Astromons with I use throughout all my guides such as Dark Mona or Dark Karnon are using end games trinkets, such as Variant 6* +15 when possible, while the rest of my Astromons will have mix of 4* & 5* Variants between +0 and +15. With maxxed trinkets, you will have a much easier time with this floor.
Below, I have a video that that utilizes the Astromons mentioned above to demonstrate it’s effectiveness and speed.
