Steam – The Elder Scrolls Online Free (Ended)

From The Makers of Skyrim

Imagine Skyrim was an MMORPG, oh wait, that is what The Elder Scrolls Online essentially is. Set in the same universe, from the same developers, The Elder Scrolls is currently celebrating it’s new expansion release by letting everyone play the standard game for free until 30 August 2021.

As long as you use the same account, your progress will not be wiped even if you decide to purchase the game much later after 30 August 2021.

To sweeten the deal, they are offering 60% off (A$13.98) the base game and The Morrowind Chapter until September, while 35% off (A$64.96) for the base game and every single expansion released. This includes Blackwood, Greymoor, Elsweyr, Summerset, and Morrowind Chapters.

Is The Elder Scrolls Online Worth Buying

Read my The Elder Scroll Online Review while you are downloading the game. This gore dark medieval base art style game has so much potential with your builds, it’s an expansive world but it does lack meta and diversity. Further, many features are locked behind paywalls, whether it is an DLC purchase or an subscription, which can be quite a turn-off for many players. Lastly, the thing that pushed me to the edge was it’s UI Customization, take a look at Bless Unleashed, that is what you will be seeing; more or less. A very badly thought out “ported UI” style interface.
