World of Warcraft: Dragonflight
World of Warcraft Dragonflight has been one of the better expansions released so far by Activision-Blizzard in the past decade. However, all good things don’t always come flawless. For example, a smooth launch is something nearly all MMORPGs struggle with and World of Warcraft is no exception. Season 1 DragonFlight just launched a few hours ago and both the Auction House and the PVP Vendor was disabled without any prior Blue Post or warning.
Issue
It seems like one of the most likely causes of both the PVP vendor and Auction house going down was due to the new PVP currency “Trophy of Strife” not being soulbound as intended. Meaning, easy quests such as Spark of Life which requires you to kill ~200 or so monsters in Azure Span will easily net you 5 Trophy of Strife, while multiple that by the number of Alts you have and could either make lots of money or be full 421 geared which is just 3 ilvl off conquest rated gear.
Update: seems like it was indeed due to the PVP gears being tradable.
